Your information, explained plainly
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what MentorSurge collects, why it is used, which service providers may receive it, and the choices available to you.
Effective: August 26, 2026
What MentorSurge collects
MentorSurge is a static site hosted through Hostinger. Hostinger may create ordinary server and access logs, which can include an IP address, request time, requested page or file, referring page, browser or device details, and security or error information.
Newsletter signup forms appear across the site. When you submit one, MentorSurge collects your email address, the form source, the signup page, and subscription status. Please do not submit sensitive financial, account, identity, or health information through a newsletter or contact channel.
How newsletter data moves
The newsletter form posts to /api/subscribe.php. That endpoint sends the submitted data to Klaviyo for newsletter and subscription administration and sends an owner-notification email to a Gmail inbox so MentorSurge can monitor signups and troubleshoot delivery.
MentorSurge uses email information to deliver requested messages, maintain subscription preferences, prevent abuse, support the service, and respond to privacy requests. Email addresses are not sold.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Cookies and similar technologies can store preferences, support security, measure use, or enable advertising. You can limit cookies in your browser, although blocking essential storage may affect site functions.
MentorSurge may use Google Analytics 4 to understand site use after the required privacy choice has been made. Optional analytics remain disabled until that choice is recorded; simply visiting the site is not treated as consent to optional analytics.
MentorSurge may use Google AdSense in the future. Advertising remains disabled in this audited build until an appropriate consent-management setup—including a certified platform where required—has been confirmed.
Charts and market-data services
TradingView embeds may load chart content and receive technical information needed to provide it. The market dashboard server may use Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) and Nasdaq data. These providers may collect or process device, request, or usage information under their own terms and privacy notices.
You can review the TradingView privacy policy, the FMP privacy policy, and the Nasdaq privacy statement.
Service providers and transfers
MentorSurge relies on providers such as Hostinger, Klaviyo, Google services, TradingView, FMP, and Nasdaq for hosting, email, analytics when enabled, charts, and market data. They act under their own terms and, where applicable, as processors or service providers for MentorSurge.
These providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their privacy notices describe the contractual or other transfer safeguards they use where applicable. No internet service can promise that information will remain in one country.
Retention
Newsletter records are generally kept until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the information is no longer needed for the purposes described here. Limited records may be retained longer when reasonably needed for suppression lists, security and fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal and recordkeeping duties.
For example, a minimal suppression record may be kept after an unsubscribe so the address is not accidentally re-added. Hosting and security logs may follow shorter operational retention schedules controlled by the relevant provider.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, restriction or objection to certain processing, or withdrawal of consent for future optional processing. You may unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in any newsletter.
You may also use browser controls to block or delete cookies and provider controls to opt out where available. MentorSurge may need to verify a request and may retain information when the law permits or requires it. MentorSurge will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by applicable law.
Children, security, and third parties
MentorSurge is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly seek personal information from them. If you believe a child submitted information, contact MentorSurge so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
MentorSurge uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. Links and embeds from other services are governed by those services' privacy notices, not this policy.
Legal bases and policy updates
Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on your request or consent, performance of a requested service, legitimate interests such as security and site administration, or a legal obligation. The basis depends on the data, purpose, and law that applies; MentorSurge does not claim blanket compliance with every privacy law.
This policy may be updated when practices, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are posted. Continued site use is not presented as consent where the law requires a separate affirmative choice.
