How to Read the Chart Without Fooling Yourself
The chart is a research tool, not a prediction machine. Start with the larger trend, then zoom in. A stock above rising 50-day and 200-day moving averages is telling a different story than one chopping below both. Use RSI and MACD to check momentum, but do not treat any single indicator like a magic button.
The best use of this page is building a repeatable process: identify the trend, mark support and resistance, compare volume, then decide where your idea is wrong before you think about upside. That is how you keep analysis from turning into gambling.
